PrintVision/Titan
Automatic 100% Quality Assurance and Process Control System for metal decorating Pre-Print, Print, and Post-Print applications
While installed on the press, Print Vision/Titan detects typical print defects like color variations, miss-registration, miss-prints, Spots, Characters, Registration, Streaks/Scratch, Splashes, Scumming, Edges, Bends, Coating miss-prints, and more. Installed on a pre-print coating machine, the PV/Titan can detect typical defects like miss-prints, black dots etc.
A colored light tower informs the operator when a defect is detected. The system visually indicates the position and the nature of all detected defects. The operator can then address the problem, and correct the relevant defect. PrintVision/Titan automatically registers the relevant defect information in a generated report – PrintFlow, which enables easy tracing of the defects for later analysis.
When detecting a defected sheet, the system is capable of sending a signal that will stop the press feeder, or eject, divert or mark the defected sheet.
The system set-up and operation are easy to operate and performed through a guided and intuitive sequence. PV/Titan has the capability of adding modules as needed.
