As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate around the world, we are writing to share our commitments to you, our customers and partners from all over the globe.

The safety of our community – customers, partners, and employees – is our primary concern. 

At AVT, we have committed to a cautious approach in running our business under the given circumstances, based on the latest advice from the World Health Organization, and are implementing the recommended guidelines of local Governments in the locations where we operate to minimize the risk of spread.

Our corporate and local response teams are continuously monitoring the situation related to planned events, meetings, seminars and conferences. Based on this input, we are testing and improving our contingency plans to enable us to continue our business engagements in these challenging times. 

Over the past days, we have received a growing number of questions about any countermeasures AVT is putting in place to ensure the continued availability of our global sales and service network. Below you will find a summary of our policies.

  • We have canceled all non-essential business travel until at least the end of April for all our employees, wherever they reside. 
  • For those countries under restricted travel policy, we will provide our best effort to support you remotely and with part shipments. Where possible, we will maintain onsite support subject to local authorities’ guidelines.
  • To further support your business, all AVT customer support engineers are equipped with a laptop and access to the AVT intranet through a secure connection (VPN). We encourage remote training and remote deployment in those countries under the restricted travel policy.

In addition to being available for any support needed by phone, the AVT Sales and Service team are still conducting face to face visits as needed and permitted. AVT continues to manufacture and ship systems to our customers and partners worldwide.
