What is a Hybrid Press?

A hybrid press is a type of press that combines two or more of the main printing press technologies – Lithography, Flexography, Gravure, or Digital – into a coordinated assembly. Recently, the combination usually involves combining a digital press with some stations using flexography or lithography. Such combinations are most often found in web-fed press constructions that are processing materials in a continuous roll or web.
