You have received this notice because our records indicate that you may operate a NYSCAN inspection system originally manufactured by Erhardt+Leimer Inc.

 These systems were manufactured and marketed by Erhardt+Leimer Inc. during the years 2006 through 2015. 

After acquiring the print inspection solutions of Erhardt+Leimer Inc. in mid-2015, Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) continued to support those customers who have invested in the NYSCAN technologies over the past 14 years, providing service, repairs, and spare parts for this legacy equipment.

During 2019, some of the NYSCAN key hardware components became unavailable, directly effecting Advanced Vision Technologies’ ability to responsibly support our NYSCAN customers.

After a comprehensive evaluation, AVT has decided to terminate our service and support activities in the NYSCAN systems, and to alternatively support our NYSCAN customers in smoothly transitioning to our next-generation inspection solutions.

For that purpose, we are glad to announce a special transition program for replacing the legacy NYSCAN technologies with novel, Helios-based automation inspection solutions.

 End-of-Service Policy for NYSCAN installed before 01.01.2016

  • Effective January 1st, 2020, AVT will no longer provide on-call service, repairs or replacement parts for the following equipment:
    • NYSCAN systems, including any HW & SW components
    • Roll-schedular devices including any HW & SW components
  • AVT will no longer sell service contracts, or renew existing service contracts
  • AVT will continue to service customers under an existing service contract that surpasses the January 1st, 2020 end-of-service date, up until contract expires
  • AVT will offer a tailored transition plan to existing inspection solutions during the period of July 1st, 2019 until December 31st, 2019.

End-of-Service Policy for NYSCAN installed between January 1st, 2016 – December 31st, 2016

  • Effective January 1st, 2021, AVT will no longer provide on-call service, repairs or replacement parts for the following equipment:
    • NYSCAN systems, including any HW & SW components
    • Roll-schedular devices including any HW & SW components
  • AVT will no longer sell service contracts, or renew existing service contracts
  • AVT will continue to service customers under an existing service contract that surpasses the January 1st, 2021 end-of-service date, up until contract expires
  • AVT will offer a tailored transition plan to existing inspection solutions during the period of July 1st, 2019 until December 31st, 2019.
