About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Lead to manage AVT’s day-to-day logistics operations, with a focus on import, export and international shipments.
In this role, you will technically lead a team of two employees, manage end-to-end logistics activities, and work closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

In your role at AVT, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day import, export, and international shipping activities, including drop shipments, exhibition shipments, and complex deliveries.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, courier companies, and customs brokers, including quotations, shipment tracking, and exception handling.
  • Prepare and review import and export documentation and coordinate customs classification and required regulatory approvals.
  • Monitor relevant import and export regulations and requirements, including U.S. import requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide logistics solutions and support.
  • Review logistics costs and supplier invoices and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Lead improvements and optimization of logistics processes, handle operational exceptions, and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, or international shipping.
  • Good knowledge of import/export processes, international shipping, and related documentation.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, courier companies, and customs brokers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve operational issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Experience working with Priority – a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience managing or leading employees – an advantage.
