AVT reclaims independence to herald new era of print inspection excellence

Renewed focus on quality as company with decades of heritage transforms into standalone business

Kfar Saba, Israel – AVT (Advanced Vision Technology), a global leader in print quality inspection and print inspection solutions for the label and flexible packaging industries, today (3 March, 2025) announced its transformation into an independent company.

With more than 30 years of experience in inline and 100% inspection solutions, AVT continues to build on its heritage. At the same time, it is returning to its roots as a standalone brand. The company remains fully dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in print inspection technology.

Advancing Print Quality Inspection Through Independence

The launch of the new AVT follows its acquisition by Porat Itay Holdings. As a result, this marks an important new chapter for the company.

Co-Owner and CEO Roy Porat said the move will deliver “the same great AVT, now focusing on what we do best—print inspection, process control and quality assurance.”

A New Era for Print Quality Inspection Leadership

AVT has led print inspection advancements since its founding in 1992. Over the years, it has helped printers worldwide achieve high levels of quality and efficiency through automated systems.

In 2017, Danaher acquired AVT and later integrated it into Esko. Now, however, AVT is reclaiming its independence. This shift allows the company to focus fully on its core expertise and future growth.
