AVT “returns to its roots” with a customer-first focus for the Americas market and beyond
AVT (Advanced Vision Technology), a global leader in print and color inspection, has underlined its commitment to customer-centric service, faster response times, and enhanced technical support across the Americas.
The company has reinforced this commitment with the opening of its new regional headquarters and demonstration center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The facility is now fully operational. It serves as a centralized hub for operations across North and Latin America. It also serves as a strategic center of excellence.
The facility houses a fully equipped customer demo and training suite. The suite showcases the latest inline print inspection and color accuracy innovations.
“Following on from a successful 2025 in which we really established ourselves as a standalone company, returning to Atlanta represents a return to our roots,” said Juan Da Silva, President of AVT Americas. “More importantly, it allows us to better serve our customers with faster response, improved communication, and a more hands-on approach to support.
“The Atlanta location has been strategically selected due to its proximity to a high concentration of flexible packaging companies, major industry partners, and key customers,” he said. “It also means we have access to one of the world’s busiest international airports, enabling rapid logistics and travel across the Americas as we continue to offer customers a faster and more efficient service.”
Centralized inventory for faster customer support
The new headquarters includes storage facilities that consolidate inventory previously held across multiple locations. These locations include the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
By centralizing its parts and systems inventory, AVT can respond immediately to customer needs. It can also help avoid critical interruptions to production.
“We now manage our own inventory directly,” added Juan. “If a customer experiences downtime, we can immediately dispatch the required parts, reducing delays and ensuring faster recovery.”
State-of-the-art demo and training center
A key highlight of the new facility is its advanced demo center. The center gives customers hands-on access to the latest AVT technologies.
It features systems such as the AVT Argus and Helios systems. It also features AVT’s SpectraLab color accuracy solutions.
Together, these technologies enable live demonstrations, application testing, and performance validation.
“The demo center enables us to deliver comprehensive on-site and virtual customer training sessions, product demonstrations and to also host trials, webinars and educational programs,” said Juan. “With this initiative we are addressing a long-standing customer need for more comprehensive training and knowledge transfer.
“Training has long been a key focus for us,” he added. “We have introduced structured remote training programs for before, during, and after the installation process, ensuring customers feel confident and supported at every stage.”
A unified approach to service operations
The new Atlanta HQ also acts as a centralized coordination point for all AVT service operations.
Field service engineers remain strategically located across the region. This allows them to provide rapid on-site support. At the same time, AVT now manages all service operations through a single hub.
“This unified approach delivers one central contact point for all customers, ensuring faster coordination and issue resolution and consistent service standards across geographic regions,” said Juan. “In addition, we have expanded our support coverage to align with customers’ local working hours across all U.S. time zones to ensure full-day support, regardless of location.
“We have moved from a fragmented structure to a single, unified team, all dedicated to solving the customer’s problem quickly,” he said.
Investing in people and customer engagement
Alongside these infrastructure improvements, AVT has strengthened its team by investing in highly qualified service professionals. The company has also enhanced its internal training programs.
In addition, AVT has introduced proactive customer engagement initiatives. Service engineers now maintain regular contact with customers beyond issue resolution.
“The feedback from the market has been extremely positive,” said Juan. “Customers are noticing the difference, not just in how quickly we respond, but in how we communicate and support their business.
“The new Atlanta headquarters ensures AVT is positioned to support the growing demand for advanced inspection solutions across the Americas, particularly in regions experiencing increased manufacturing investment and expansion,” he said. “By combining centralized operations, enhanced training capabilities, and a renewed focus on customer experience, AVT is delivering on its stated goal to set a new standard for service in the print inspection industry.”
